I am a hard- worker with a lot of goals in my life. I am willing to do what it takes to put myself ahead of everyone else. I lead by example on and off the field and in the classroom. One of my dreams is to be a professional long snapper in the NFL. Another goal of mine is to be a successful meteorologist. I want to start a family and give them the love and support as I am fortunate to recieve from my family. Wirtel is now ready for the next level. He has great length and a solid frame that could easily put on 30 lbs. He listens well and is very coachable. Snaps a nice, smooth ball that is on target. Speed is at the D1 level when he snaps the ball hard, which is pretty much every single time now (and I love it). He moves well on his feet and his going to be a very accurate/consistent Long Snapper at the next level. Not flashy, but he doesn't need to be as a Long Snapper. Excellent work ethic. (Chris Rubio)
During the 2012 Midwest Showcase Camp in December John finished with a score of 37/45 and connected on 11/15 long snaps and 14/15 short snaps. He continues to snap the ball with outstanding velocity as he finished camp with an average snap time of .70 seconds and was a finalist in the snap competition. John is explosive with his mechanics and I look for him to compete for a starting job right away." Kevin Garviolle - Kohls Snapping Coach 1-608-225-8789
