Kathryn Blake '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kathryn Blake .  I began playing volleyball in the 6th grade and quickly fell in love with the sport.  I have played several different positions including outside, middle, and opposite hitter along with defensive specialist. I enjoy playing anywhere and will work hard at any position.
I began competitive gymnastics at the age of 8 .  I believe that years of that sport at a young age, helped me develop into a very coachable  athlete and a hard worker. I always strive to be a good leader, role model,  and teammate with any sport I participate in.  

Along with volleyball, I am also a member of the competitive cheer team at my school.  I participate in various clubs such as Future Business Leaders of America, and Aces for Christ while maintaining a 3.90 GPA and working at my family’s restaurant.  
I love being a part of a team and working toward a common goal.  I am open to all college options, and would love a program that will not only help develop my athletic skills, but also my character!
