2023 Midwest Chic...Personal Statement
I have played Hockey for over a decade. I have seen many things and learned many as well. I started at the very bottom where most do. I have progressed through NIHL2, NIHL1, and now Central States which is at the top of Tier 2 Hockey. I want to keep progressing as well. Because I have never had a stronger passion for anything other than hockey. I have made it my goal to reach the highest level of hockey there is. I have and will continue to work the hardest I can reach my goal.
I have a focused, tough schedule when it comes to academics and my athletics. When it is time for business, I go into a mindset where I must be the absolute best I can. When it is time to relax, I love to talk and laugh with peers and learn more about who I am with. With my academics, I make sure I do the absolute best to improve. My schedule this year includes 3 Honors classes. I currently am maintaining a "With Honors" GPA but continue to strive for a "With High Honors" GPA. I ask questions and get involved. I build relationships with all my teachers. I also get involved with school athletics and clubs. I play football for my school and am a member of the Irish, Film, and Travel clubs.
These all have lead me down the path to play hockey at the collegiate level.
