Jacob Slusher '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jacob Slusher. I am a Senior at Greensburg Community High School in Indiana. We are a 3A school, small but tough! My school is located half way between Indianaplois and Cincinnati. I am 6'3" and 195 lbs. I have played football since I was a youth, which has been approximately 10 yrs. I have lettered Varsity all 4 years of High School. I play LB (ILB,OLB)on defense, and RB on offense. I recently finished speed camp (Excellerated Indiana), and my fastest 40 time is 4.67, vertical-30, bench-225, squat-320, clean 230. I also run track and my fstest 100 meter run time is 11.3, 200 meter run 23.0. I recieved Team MVP, All Conference (EIAC) 1st Team, Defensive MVP and Team Captain for the 2009/10 season of my Junior year. I had 64 tackles, 5 sacs and 10 TD in last year's season also. I have been chosen as a Team Captain again this year for leadership and dedication to football, my team, and my coaches. My most recent achievements have consisted of: Captain, Team MVP, All EIAC, EIAC Defensive MVP, All Area, AP All State Honorable Mention and IFCA All State. I am interested in playing college football not only because I am passionate about the game, but I feel that I have what it takes to be a good player. I am open to all Divisions, and most importantly what they have to offer academically. I have a 3.28 GPA; SAT score of 1580, but will retake again in February 2011; and will graduate with Honors. My intended study will be Pre-Med. My father is a Physical Therapist and my mother is a Nurse. They have taught me a lot about helping others. I am looking for a College/University that can offer me the academic goals that I am looking for and to be able to play and compete at a higher level to pursue my passion for the game of football.
