Personal Statement
My goal is to play football at the most competitive level while getting a college degree. I've played football and basketball since kindergarten. I love being a part of the team and a part of the battle. My best friends have always been the guys I'm on the field with. My Dad has taught me to never forget to give credit to the offensive lineman and the guys who block for me. I might get the glory of a touchdown, but I couldn't do it without my teammates. I stop & get donuts for my o-line on Saturday morning film days.
While my coaches have needed me as a running back for most of my high school career, I love it when I get to play defense. My defensive position has usually been outside linebacker & I look forward to playing linebacker in college. While I might not have as much experience at this position as some guys, I think my experience as running back helps me anticipate, read and react better than most.
I listen to and respect my coaches. My parents taught me to not talk back to refs or coaches, don't make excuses create solutions.
Always earned, never given.
