Personal Statement

I am a 6'6 Offensive Lineman and Defensive End weighing in at 255 pounds. I am a senior at Lake Central High School graduating this May and would like to continue my football career in college. I have been a starting Varsity player since my sophomore year at Lake Central which is a 6A school.  I am a multi-sport athlete having played baseball and basketball through middle school while continuing swimming and track through high school. I am a state level swimmer during the winter season and throw both shotput and discus in the spring. 

I am on track to graduate with honors and currently have a GPA of 4.24/ 4.0 taking several Advanced Placement and Honors classes. I excel in math, science and engineering courses. Academics is a priority for me and so is community service. I am a member of the National Honor Society, and my service hours are focused on leading football camps for children in our community, assisting with town activities such as 5K runs and tutoring those who need help.
