Personal Statement
My confidence this year has grown. The opportunity I had as a freshman to play at the varsity level allowed me to compete and come in right away as a sophomore and have a big role on both sides of the ball. Making the second team all-district as one of only two sophomores in an extremely tough district proved to myself I was ready to compete at a higher level than my opponents. Moving on to next year my role will increase as I have to become a better team leader as an upper classman as our team continues to get better during our re-building stage. My family's background in athletics has inspired me to achieve at the next level of competition.
