Junior Year Personal Statement
My name is Jaxen Peterson, and I play football, basketball, and track at West Hancock High School in Britt, Iowa. My goal is to further my athletic career in college and hopefully get or earn a scholarship to help pay for my education. What makes me different from other athletes is my ability to bring people together and outwork others. Just because I come from a small school or town doesn't mean I'm not as skilled as other athletes by any means. I'm currently a running back for my team, but I wish to become a receiver. My team finished second in the 2022 Class A state tournament.
