Personal Statement

I am a hard working athlete who has enjoyed success at every level I've played so far and want to have that same success playing college football.

I will do whatever it takes to continue that journey. I love competition. You will not be disappointed if you bring me into your football teams family.

As a sophomore I was in our starting rotation on defense last year ( 2013 ) on our State Championship Team. I was also the next man in for our offensive line which was a group of all seniors. I got varsity game reps at center and at offensive guard. This year as a junior I earned All District MVP O-line and 1st Team All State honors. I've been blessed with great coaches since 5th grade, the first year I put on pads and helmet.

I am one who believes in a year round approach to weight lifting. I have shown my teammates that it is possible to make gains while in season in two sports ( I also play baseball and received All State honors  in 2013 ). My dad is a former Marine and has trained his entire life since age 13. It is something we have done together since I was age 8. By mid point my sophomore year I became the strongest kid in my school on every lift we measure ( bench, squat, dead lift, power clean ). I have been a leader in my school by mentoring several of my teammates in weight training. Several of my lifts can be viewed on my You Tube video at  #52 Dalton Smith.

I am a hard working student who is serious about earning a meaningful degree. I like to have fun with my teammates and enjoy meeting new people.

I look forward to hearing from any coach interested in having me on their team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
