Carter Brehm '18 Recruiting Profile

I have played football since the third grade, and have been a lineman the entire time. I love knowing the offense accomplishes nothing without us, even if we don't get the accolades. I especially appreciate the brotherhood that develops among fellow linemen.

During my high school football career I've committed myself to becoming stronger and smarter. I want to be the best on the field, but football has also given me the focus to be better off the field as well. I don't spend my free time partying; I spend it lifting weights, working at the local grocery store, and volunteering at a nursing home. I understand what it means to be responsible to others and to do what needs done regardless of difficulty or adversity.

It is my strong desire to continue playing football at the next level, but not because I want to play a game; I want to keep pushing myself and want to be part of something bigger than myself.
