William White '18 Recruiting Profile

I am very involved in and passionate about the Young Life organization, especially introducing others to the organization.  I am looking forward to serving on the work crew at one of the camps next summer.  I have played both basketball and football since first grade.  I have always loved football and loved the contact part of the game.  I have learned that everyone has a role to fill on a team and you can accomplish great things if you all work together.  It has taught me discipline both on and off the field (have to stay very focused on school and homework).  Football and basketball has taught me mental and physical toughness.  I intend to graduate near the top of my class with my weighted GPA over 4.0.  I would like to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree and move on to achieve a masters degree in Science Technology.  In my spare time I love to play chess and hike.  I have done several 14,000 foot elevation hikes.
