Personal Statement
My family and I live in a rural community in southeast Kansas where we raise cow-calf pairs. I enjoy hard work and labor and look forward to my work at my job as a farm laborer. Whether in the classroom, practice field, weight room, or behind the wheel of a tractor; I like the feeling of accomplishment and a job well done!
I am a member of the National Honor Society and actively involved in both 4-H and FFA and I have been selected by my teachers several times over the past six years to represent our school at our area schools Leadership Academy. I feel like I am viewed as a positive role model by my peers and a leader both on and off the field.
Because of my strength I have been primarily placed on the line out of necessity but feel like I am a very coachable athlete and would enjoy the opportunity to explore other positions where I may be a benefit to my team.
At this time, I feel like my future is somewhere in the field of agriculture and I see myself being best suited at a school with a strong agricultural program.
