Kaleb Sherman '17 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to compete at a collegiate level while I'm getting a good education for my future. I work as hard as I can on and off the field as well as in and out of the classroom. I've been told that I'm different once I put on those pads and that helmet. I'm genuinely a nice guy and once I get out on that field (practice or game) I lose that nice side of me and I play as hard as I can just living off of every hit I get. I have the mentality that I am a student athlete, that to me doesn't mean all I focus on is academics, to me it means that I maintain good grades while also improving in my athletics. I also think that just because I'm not as talented as some of the other guys on my team doesn't mean that I'm not athletic, I look at all the positive talents that I have received from natural born talent and trained talent.
