Derek Roever '19 Recruiting Profile

Growing up on a farm, I know the meaning of hard work, discipline, dedication, and the factors needed to achieve success.  I am aspiring to be the first in my family to acquire a college education and desire to continue to play the sport that drives a fire within me, football.  I share the love for the sport with my father, who has been a major influence in my success in my career thus far.  I started playing full contact in 5th grade.  I served as the quarterback through all my junior high years. I took the responsibility of leading my teammates and thrive on it.  Throughout my high school career, my strengths have been utilized in gaining knowledge, successfully playing several positions, both offense and defense.  I continue to strengthen both physically and mentally, and take pride in being very physical on the field.

I have been given a gift of athleticism, have a passion to learn, and a desire to breed success.
