Elijah Montero '19 Recruiting Profile

I give a 110% every practice and in every game I've ever played. I work hard in school and on the field and I want to stand out and be recognized by everyone that sees me play. My passion is football and all though I currently do not know what  my career interest is at this time, I know I must continue to work hard academically to get into a good college. I have a different mindset than everyone else, I want my family to watch me play on TV. I want to be the best . If I have nothing to do on my free time, I am putting in work. Before every game I am always asking myself how bad do you want to be successful? I just want to show my family and friends that I got what it takes make it out there to the college level.  All I have to do is put in the work on the field, classroom, and weight room.  My mom has been a single parent all my life and I want to make her proud of me and I want her to see what a good job she has done raising me and my younger brother. She often makes comments that makes me feel as if she believes she has failed us as a parent. I will prove her to be wrong.
