Personal Statement

I am currently a senior attending North Oldham High School in Goshen, Kentucky where my primary position(s) are quarterback and punter as well as corner and safety.  I am currently ranked #17 in the Nation as a punter for ’17 by Chris Sailer, National Punting and Kicking Coach.  I would like to continue my football career while earning my college degree and earning my engineering degree.

I think that, I’d be a good fit for your team because I have a great level of confidence and can handle pressure very well. I’m great leader by action and I can also be a verbal leader.

In my athletic career, I was named 2015 All Conference, 2015 All County, 2015 Metro Louisville All Area Football Team, and 2015 Kentucky All State Football Team for punting.  I have attended Chris Sailer’s camps and I’ve been awarded 2014 Illinois Overall Camp Champion, 2014 Most Improved Kicker/Punter (Class of 2017) and 2015 Illinois Punt Champion.

My academics are great with my GPA between 3.1/3.5 and my ACT score was a 25.  I plan to study Engineering toward my professional career as a Structural Engineer.

Thanks for taking the time to read my resume. I am very excited to see what the future holds for me in college.

  • I had won the Punt Championship and got to advance to the final round consisting 3 other kickers and I as Punt Champion. In the finals I had beaten the kickoff champion, and advancing to the Final Round. In the finals I had competed against the field goal champion . He had to make a 50 yard field goal and I chose to hit 2/3 instead of 1/1 to hit above a 4.4 hang time ball. We both passed and he ended up being moved back to a 55 yard field goal and I was stuck with a 4.6 hang time to qualify to the next round. I chose the 2/3 again and hit two 4.7 and a 4.8. As we went a little further back to the 60 yard line. i had to hit a 4.8 or higher to qualify. He had barely made his and I chose 2/3 but I had only hit one 4.8 hang punt. The other two were 4.6 and 4.7. I had ended up as the overall camp Runner-Up
