Earning the starting spot sophomore year of Highschool really boosted my confidence , especially when coach put me in the middle of the game and never took me out the rest of the season. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete Junior year when our team lost in the first-round in the state playoff. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a great kicker/punter capable of playing at the college level.
I am fortunate enough to have reached the College level and be on scholarship. Being red shirted due to injury in fall camp really woke me up I was looking forward to having a great freshman college season and reach the goals I set , but got set behind. I am now healthy and working on my game to fulfill the level I want to be at. I am now trying to go to a junior college to fulfill the D1 goal I have. The reason I am leaving will be to compete at the highest level of college ball in the future. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership being at my D2 school. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
