Personal Statement
I envision my college football years to come as a world of success. Currently, I aspire to break my father's records in high school who became a professional athlete. Then, I plan on continuing my leadership in academics and athletics in college. I look forward to improving my skill set from the two years of Varsity experience already under my belt and prepare for the college experience. My leadership and self confidence has contributed to the core of all programs I have been apart. My faith in God has allowed me to display loyalty, dedication and perseverance to my teammates and coaches. The teams that I played with has never been a part of a losing season. We either played in a championship game or made the playoffs. I am continuing to train off season with position trainers and with API, strength and conditioning coach to keep this momentum. Qualifying in several AAU Junior Olympic track and field competitions in previous years demonstrate that I bring a different skill set to the football field. I am different, as one of the fastest sprinters in the United States and Maryland for the Class of 2022, I can apply it to the field. I also was a captain to my AAU basketball teams who won many tournaments Nationally in the U.S. I also plan to pursue academic excellence. I am bilingual in world languages and have a combined 87 average in my classes. It is my goal to inspire others as I have done throughout my life. I aim to find a program that will continue to help me grow and succeed. Please visit my Rivals page at https://n.rivals.com/news/db-oliver-bridges-is-focused-on-taking-visits
