Andrew DeRamus '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew DeRamus.  Playing college football, while working towards building my future, is a goal that I strive for daily.  I have my mind set on achieving that goal while majoring in Physical Education, Marine Biology, or Computer Graphics.  One of these three college degrees would allow me to become either a P.E. Teacher/Football Coach, work with marine life (fishing is a passion of mine), or creating computer graphics content for businesses.

I currently attend Walkersville High School in Walkersville, MD, class of 2025.  This will be my second year attending this school.  My previous high school was Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, AL, where I had been a part of the football system since elementary school with a passion for the game, especially defense.  My current G.P.A. is 3.97/4.0.  I currently play a variety of positions including: D-End, D-Tackle, and Middle Linebacker.  I am a versatile team player and hard worker.  My coaches rely on my knowledge of the game, quickness to learn, and flexibility daily.  I have aspirations to play college football, wherever that may be.  

I am smart, respectful, and quick to learn.  I pride myself on being a reliable person in all things that I am a part of.  In class, I not only ensure I am understanding the subject matter, I also assist my teachers by helping other students learn the material.  I have a great rapport with my teachers, teammates, and school counterparts.  I have learned from my parents to be honest, considerate of others feelings, and always treat everyone with respect.  I hope you will consider me becoming a part of your team to help me achieve my lifelong goal of playing football at the next level after successfully completing my time in high school.
