Personal Statement
Playing in the Massachusetts Div. 3 hockey state championship as a freshman was quite an eye opener, for what the future might hold at my school. Sure enough as a sophomore 2nd string on O-line and D-line our team reached the south semis with a 2000 yard back and a 4,000 yard offense. Sure enough the next year after graduating 10, in my junior year we made it back to the Superbowl falling just short 26-20. As we are graduating 19 seniors we have a strong core of Juniors coming back to take another run for that trophy. I have found that starting on such great teams that I have the ability to compete in this sport at a higher level.
As a junior with a 3.48 GPA I'am looking towards my senior year to excel in all of my classes. I'am also participating in a school to career program with an unpaid internship at Hawthorne Medical Association as a PT assistant. All in hopes of receiving a Masters in athletic training and or Sports Management
I can't admit to having the easiest road in life with family issues since I was 7 years old. But I can't say I have had the hardest road seeing many of my old childhood friends from Newbedford have had it 10x worse than me. But I like to admit I have a strong work ethic and feel I can get any task done on or off the field.
