As a player and a student, I have learned that football isn't just a sport. It's a way of life. I started playing football as a 7th grader. It was my first year and i never really had interest in it before. I was always told i should play but I never really liked it. But as soon as i stepped on the field for my first game everything changed. I was good at it. A starter, a 2 year captain and ever since then I've put everything I could into football. Which means not letting my grades drop. Football gave me extra motivation to work harder at everything that I do. Whether it was another sport or even in school. I love competition. I love pushing myself, it makes me who I am.
Playing football has taught me about family, competition, work ethic. All of that translates into me and how i live my life. I push to compete everyday. In all my sports, all my subjects, everything that i could get better at. I push myself to get better. I have always been a competitive person and football is another stepping stone for more competition. I feel i have the capability, work ethic, and leadership to make a impact on your team and school as soon as I get there.
