NCAA ID number is 2206587809.
My name is Jeremiah Grady, I am a 6 ft 1 inch Guard in the Class of 2024 with a 3.38 GPA (Transcript Enclosed). Just completed my two quarters as a senior at Center Line High School in Michigan with a 3.381 and 3.383 GPAs respectively.
My family calls me "J-Dawg". Since August 23, 2020, I have grown 13 inches (From 6 ft 1 inches tall).
My wingspan is 6 ft 7 inches long. With my arms straight up, my height is 7 feet 8 inches tall.
Since Oct 2, 2023, with the help of MECA (Michigan Elite Conditioning for Athletics in Royal Oak, MI) my weight went from 145 lbs. to 152.7 lbs. (7.7 lbs. overall with 6 lbs. of muscles). My body fat went from 15% to 13% (2% decrease). I am learning my new body every day.
This 2023-2024, as one of six seniors, we helped the Center Line HS Boys Varsity Basketball team become Bronze-Silver Boys MAC Tournament Champions with a record of 18-3 (Second time in school history - Year 1998). Also, we were seeded #1 in our District 61 playoffs (first time in school history). Finally, we became District 61 Champions on Friday, 3/1/24 going on the road and beating Country Day on their court 52-45. First District Championship in school history. Unfortunately, we lost in the HS first ever Regionals Quarter Finals against Goodrich HS on 3/5/24.
My 2022-2023 season, Center Line HS Boys Varsity Basketball Team finish with a record of 18-5 (Best record in 12 yrs. - MAC Division champions: 10-0- First time in school history).
I enjoy studying Math, Spanish, maps, Media Communications, Robotics and Graphic Designs, bowling, and editing/creating videos and music. For example, the enclosed videos, I edited and created the music: Adrian College Camp Training 2023, J-Dawg 2023 Summer Highlights and J-Dawg JV & Varsity Games.
My strengths on the floor are my long arms, free throws, moving without the ball, and shooting ability (from the corner, top of the key, off a screen, off the dribble, step back, turn around, and floater, etc.). I am a pure shooter with deep range from beyond the 3-point line.
I am a hard worker, confident, unselfish, coachable, and an awesome team player. I help my teammates become better players and accountable in practices and in games. I am not afraid to take the pressure shots especially at the end of each quarter! If you need a spark during the game, I am your player!
For two years as a CLHS Boys varsity player, I played on the JV Basketball Team with Coach Nick Daniels (Oakland Univ. graduate - Guard) and on the Boys Varsity Basketball Team at Centerline HS with Coach Derrick Walton Sr (Father of Derrick Walton, Jr, - Sydney Kings (ANBL), Motor City Cruise G-League and Detroit Pistons player).
I don't talk much until I get to know you. My nickname growing up playing basketball was "The Quiet Assassin". My Center-Line teammates calls me "The Silent Assassin".
Also check out my video on Instagram (clhs_basketball). Playing in my first game as a "Panther" on 12/14/21 against Clinton Dale HS, I made a 38-footer with one second left on the clock (all net) to end the second quarter. The video has over 810 views.
I am looking for a university to earn a great education and play for a College Coach who will allow me the freedom, trust and accountability to shoot the ball within his system.
My favorite players growing up and I had the pleasure of meeting are Rodney Stuckey, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Boban Marjanovic. I continue to study Saddiq Bey (Pistons/Hawks), Khris Middleton (Bucks), Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry (Warriors) shooting styles. Every day, I am working on my craft.
