John Burke '23 Recruiting Profile

The game of football has been in  my life since I can remember. I grew up watching it every Sunday, then going outside to play catch in the backyard. The moment I had the chance to step on the field for the first time it felt like it was where I belonged. Although on my mind football was everything, I learned from a very young age academics came before anything. I've held to that standard all throughout high school and don't plan on stopping in college. I'd love to continue playing the game at the next level as I further my education and get a degree in engineering. I push myself day in and day out spending most of my time outside of school in the gym working to better my game, or studying for the next quiz. It's a great honor to be able to play this game and I'd like to keep playing it for as long as I can.
