Playing college football has been one of my biggest dreams since I was a little kid. I watched closely and admired the upperclassmen that played when I was in grade school. I wanted to be the next big football star at my school. When I started my high school football career as a freshman, I started only two games. The team won the state championship that year. Although I was not a major role, the experience I had watching and learning helped me not only grow as a person but also made me want to better myself as an athlete. I wanted to become a starter my sophomore year and get to experience what the upperclassmen ahead of me did. I worked extremely hard that offseason and was named a two way starter that next season. I worked hard again during the offseason, between my sophomore year and junior year. My hard work was very rewarding. I played a huge role, received a lot of recognition, and I helped lead our team to another state title. I continue to push myself to work harder every day and will continue to throughout my senior year and after.
I am not only in search of a school that will fit me athletically but I equally want to find one that fits me academically. I believe that I not only have the skills to compete at the collegiate level but also the work ethic and commitment to do well in the classroom. Being a three sport athlete, working out four to five days a week, being involved within school clubs, and many other things. With all of this combined, I still have been able to maintain my academics at a high level. I feel like I have what it takes to make an immediate impact on your program and make my dream of always wanting to play college football come true.
