Personal Statement
Recognized as Special Team’s Player of the Year for the past two consecutive years by my Conference, and winning a wrestling state championship this past season exemplifies the fact that I have always been a driven individual. I hold myself and my values to a higher standard than most. Both as a student and an athlete, I continually look for challenges and ways to better myself. My coaches would also agree that I am very disciplined and work harder than most individuals.
My coaches feel confident in my abilities and chose to utilize my skillset in many game changing situations. My coaches and teammates could count on me to not only add points to the scoreboard but, help win games. I’m often considered the “ice man” as I am able to directly focus at my task at hand in high pressure situations. I know that my work ethic and confidence will allow me to accomplish anything I set my mind to.
My goal is to not only excel at my specialty but, to drive those around me to be the best that they can be. As team Captain and a member of the Football Leadership committee, I am committed to being a well-rounded individual in my school and athletic programs, as well as in Community service. I am an honor role student with a 3.45 GPA, and take many AP courses. I believe I would be an asset to any football team and college academic program.
