Edgar Ficke-Anderson '18 Recruiting Profile

    I grew up with dreams of playing as a different kind of football player. I started my athletic career as a soccer player, and a good one if I do say so myself. However, I moved with my dad's work as a professor every four years like clock work. In my 7th grade year I moved to Wayne, Ne where soccer stopped after 6th grade. I was heartbroken and decided I needed a new sport which is where I picked up football, and I haven't looked back since.

    I fell in love with being able to play the game and I have never lost that passion. I believe that I have excelled in the sport since my 7th grade year and now couldn't imagine playing anything different. However, let me remind you my dad is a professor meaning he makes sure my grades stay in check, otherwise I don't play meaning i have and always will maintain a high GPA and will do my very best in the classroom and on the field. I have high aspirations for my future whether it leads through football or through academics.
