Personal Statement

Academic Information: -GPS: 3.4 -ACT: 20, June 2010 -Expected College Major: Business Management/Administration Personal Information -DOB: 12/15/1992 -Height: 5'6" -Weight:205 -Religion: Christian -Parents: Stephanie McCune & the late Paul McCune Physical Statistics -40 Speed: 4.8 -Bench Press: 290 -Squat: 405 -Vertical: 25.5" -Tackles: 102 total (2009) -Sacks: 4 (2009) I have had four years of high school football experience. As a freshman and sophomore I served as a special teams starter and starting middle linebacker. I currently play outside linebacker and defensive tackle. It is my desire to play linebacker in college. I have often been told that I am too short to play football, however I have been playing since my ninth grade year. My small stature by no means determines my abilities. My height serves as the catalyst for forcing me to work that much harder. It is my personal motivation. I plan to bring a "no quit" attitude to my college team. I believe I will be an asset to any team because I have a strong conviction for success and I am willing to go beyond what is asked or required. I am very interested in colleges in the Southern region of the United States, however I am open to attending schools in other regions of the country. I would like to attend a public college that is known for academic success as well as athletics. It is my goal to play as a freshman. My long term goal as a college athlete is to impact my team by exhibiting determination, perseverance and tenacity.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
