Being named the starting running back on the varsity football team as a freshman was my dream come true. However, I feel that I became a better student-athlete my sophomore year when we lost four of our five starting offensive lineman. That experience helped me grow as an athlete and lead me to focus on my ability to use my speed to avoid defensive lineman and backers that came through the offensive line in the snap of the ball. This experience also helped me grow as an athlete by leading me to focus on my efforts on becoming a collegiate football player.
I am a senior now, going into my fifth game of the season. Over the years I have learned the worth of teamwork, leadership, sacrifice, and dedication. I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me athletically and academically.
Athletically, I believe I have the ability to play on a college team. I am willing to play wherever you want me. I play both sides of the ball but my main position is running back. Although, I did make 1st team All-State at Strong Safety. I believe I have the dedication, teamwork, sacrifice, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.
Academically, I am looking for a program with exercise science. My goal is to keep my GPA at a 3.5 or higher. As a three-sport athlete, iron-man football player, multiple position player, and team captain for six years, I know I have what it takes to play on the collegiate level. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I really hope you invest your time in recruiting me.
