Stevie Ballard '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’5” 290lb Offensive Tackle at Central Hinds Academy in Raymond, MS. My 3A division school allows me the opportunity to play Offensive Tackle, Defensive Tackle, and Center. I ran a 5.13 40-yard dash February 24 at the Rivals Combine in Mobile, AL. I also received a camp pass to attend the Rivals 3-Stripe camp February 25. My passion for football prompted my goal to play at the collegiate level. This is a goal I will accomplish as I am focused and dedicated to constantly improving my strength, speed, and skills to stand out as an excellent athlete to college coaches. My positive attitude and strong work effort pushes me to give 100% effort everyday at practice and during the game on Friday nights.

Through my involvement in Boy Scouts of America, I’ve had ten years of leadership training. This consistent training provides me with the skills to successfully encourage and lead others to be their best. In 2017, I achieved the highest rank available, Eagle Scout, from Boys Scout of America. I am proud of this accomplishment because it proves leadership and accomplishment but also because I earned this in addition to the stringent football program my Freshman and Sophomore years.

My collegiate goals are to graduate debt-free from a 4-year university, prepared for a lifelong career, and to be a valuable contributing player to my college football team.
