Anthony D'Amico '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1'' Quarterback hailing from McDonald County Missouri, where I served as the JV starting Quarterback during my Junior, Sophomore, and part of my Freshman year.  In addition, I also played safety for JV during my Sophomore year.  I was the PAT holder for Varsity during my Sophomore year and Junior year, as well as the backup quarterback and punter my Junior year.  The JV team went 6-3 in 2023.  I only mention this, because at no time did I have the same offensive line during the season.  I am disciplined in working with new people on the line and being able to figure out what works best for us as a team at that time.

As captain of the Junior and Sophomore football teams and a member of the football leadership team, I possess excellent leadership qualities that have been honed through my involvement in S.A.L.T., Student Athlete Leadership Team, the past 2 years.  I was awarded MVP my Sophomore and Junior year on the JV team. I received the Award of Excellence for Exemplary Display of Sportsmanship, Ethics & Integrity from MSHSAA, Missouri State High School Activities Association and NFHS, National Federation of State High School Associations in the spring of 2023. My Varsity team won districts for the first time in school history this year and went to the state semi finals.

My academic achievements are equally impressive, as a I am a member of the Science National Honor Society and the National Honor Society with a 4.12 GPA.  I   plan to graduate with High Honors, I am currently ranked 5th in my class. 

I am seeking a university that will not only suit me as an athlete, but also as an academic who is determined to achieve my future goals.  I am coachable; attentive to instruction, very much a team player, and am willing to change to improve.  On the field, I remain composed and am ready to work hard to achieve my success.
