Hello My name is Dustin Harmon. I currently live in Greenfield Mo. As a collegiate student I will strive to obtain all the skills a person needs to become a successful part of this society in which we live today. As a college student I will work hard and achieve the studies in which it takes to achieve my life long dream to be a member of Public Services Firefighter/EMS or Conservation Agent. My father and my grandfather both served their communities with great pride, "SO WILL I".
Threw my High school career I have made many adjustments as far as positions. I come from a small town where the players numbers on the team ranged anywhere from 15 to 25 players so we had to play both sides of the ball. I am very coach able and team oriented. I am not the kind of person that stops thinking about football once the season is over. I find myself in the gym or running around town doing whatever it takes to prepare for the following season. I constantly encourage my teammates to hit the gym with me to achieve our goals as a team together.
As far as what makes me different from other athletes I have always been small growing up. Around the end of my freshman year I decided I wasn't going to let my size determine how far I would go in my football career. I dedicated myself to hard work and lifting weights. Last year I placed 2nd in my weight division in State and proved to all that said I couldn't do something I could and I would. I have a don't quit attitude. Last year I was used at Outside linebacker along with corner. This year I will keep those responsibilities as well as starting as Varsity Quarterback. Again I am very coach able and will do whatever helps our team be successful on and off the field.
