Personal Statement
For as long as I can remember football has been my passion. I started playing flag football when I was 6yo. My coach was a former Mizzou and NFL Europe MLB Standout. As a late bloomer I was always one of the smallest players on the field. He inspired me to play above my physical limitations and taught me how technique can overcome my size disadvantage. This also helped me to develop a high football IQ and has propelled me as a Junior to become a varsity starter and leader of our defense. As my body has begun to catch up with my ambition it has paid large dividends on the field. This season I led the team and was 7th overall in the state of Missouri Class 3 in tackles. I was honored as All Conference 1st team MLB in the Crossroads Conference as well as 2nd team all district. I continue to excel in the weight room and am pound for pound one of the strongest on our team. My commitment to my coaches and teammates is unparalleled.
I believe that personal responsibility, hard work, and comradery are the keys to success on and off the field. As a student athlete I try to give 100% to my studies. Summit Christian Academy is a highly challenging and competitive academic school I currently hold a cumulative 3.0 GPA and push myself to achieve academic greatness with the same fervor as on the gridiron.
Aside from school and football my life is centered around my family. We live on acreage with my Aunt and Uncle across the street with acreage as well. I enjoy ATV trail riding with my cousins, hunting with my dad, and spending time at the lake. Something a lot of folks may not know about me is that I am a Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings nerd. Like my dad, I probably know as much or more about the lore of those two universes than most people should.
All I have ever wanted was a chance, a chance to show what I can do, a chance to lead those around me through my hard work, and a chance to prove to those who said I cant do it that I can. I am very honored that you have taken the time to read a little about me and would very much like to bring what I have to your team.
