As a two-sport athlete, I know that I have the talent, work ethic, and leadership skills to compete with a college team. Having played soccer since the age of 4, I was gratified when the football coach saw my kicking potential. His encouragement and training led to the longest kickoff in my schools’ history at our opening game, at 83 yards. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to refocus my own efforts on becoming a solid kicker capable of playing at the college level.
