Personal Statement
My name is Treyton Roets and I am currently a Junior at Webb City, MO, playing Class 5 football. I currently stand at 6'4” and weigh 220 pounds. I played some varisty my Sophomore year at Tight End and Defensive End before starting my Junior season at Tight End. My film is made up of run blocks and some catches as we run a Split back veer offense. I had 9 catches for 160 yards on the season with 2 touchdowns as we went on to win the State Championship. Through this great game, I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, leadership, and how to remain calm in certain circumstance.
Possessing the desire to be the best teammate, leader, and tight end for my team, I have indeed polished all the characteristics mentioned above. I find being a leader and “setting the example” for those around me to be the most gratifying reward. I am a very coachable person and I catch on to things quick. God has blessed me to play this amazing game with the people I care about and love like my own family.
I am looking for a college that will challenge me not just as a player, but in the classroom, as well as provide me with a college degree in the medical field. I currently have a 3.556 cumulative GPA in high school. My goal for college is to succeed in the classroom and on the field.
