Personal Statement

My name is Brock Ping. I have lived in Billings, Montana my whole life and have played football since second grade. Both of my parents attended Rocky Mountain College and my dad was starting linebacker for their football team. You could say football is in my blood. It is my passion. Playing the sport has really given me the opportunity to practice my work ethic, and drive my mental and physical toughness. I really could not imagine my life without football and hope to continue playing through college.

I attended Billings Senior High School my freshman, sophomore and part of my junior year. While at Senior, I was fortunate enough to be part of the state championship team of 2017. I lettered all three seasons in football and two in track. While playing at Senior I was able to demonstrate my ability to fight for yards in up the gut plays. Leaving Senior High and my team was one of the toughest decisions I have made.

Currently I attend Billings Central High School, which is a College prep school in the Montana A Division. I am extremely excited to part of this team and contribute to their run heavy offense that consist of many outside plays that will showcase my speed and home run ability, and wherever else I am needed on the other side of the ball. I continue to prepare for the 2020 football season on a daily basis and plan on attending multiple camps and combines this coming summer. My strengths as a football player are my athleticism and versatility. I can be a contributor on both sides of the ball and special teams. I am very thankful to be able to compete at the high school level and hope to continue to succeed and play at the college level.
