Personal Statement
I have been playing sports since I was four years old. I've competed in baseball, track, basketball, and football. I started playing football in the fourth grade for the local youth tackle football league. One of my long-term dreams is to play collegiate football. Ever since I began to play football, I have always been the kicker. I began playing soccer at a young age, where I learned to kick a ball. My freshmen season, I was the part-time varsity kicker, I was able to letter as well. My sophomore season I was the full-time varsity kicker, I received All-Conference Kicker, All-State Kicker, and was the Montana “AA” Prep Kicker of the Year. I’m a leader on the field and always motivate my teammates to give it their all.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a cumulative 4.0 GPA. I have received Academic All-State the past two years as well. I believe it is very important to give back to my community, I have participated in TIP (Teens In Partnership) as both a participant and volunteer. I have also volunteered for the local Special Olympics Track and Field event. I was a volunteer for Butte High’s Thanksgiving food bank. I plan on continuing to volunteer in college.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself to be a better football player and a better student. I am open to all options and want to find the college that is best for me at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to continue to be a great role model for my peers, make my community proud, and make my family proud.
What coaches say:
"Casey is great looking athlete with a strong leg for his. He shows that he can hit a nice ball at times on both field and kickoff. Still a bit raw, but there is nice potential here. As he continues to work on his technique and consistency, he will shoot up the rankings. I look forward to seeing his development from camp 1 to camp 2. Casey will benefit greatly for the experience of Vegas XXXIV in May. Keep a close eye on him. Strong young prospect." Chris Sailer (Spring 2019)
Quote from Coach Torgerson:
“Casey is very advanced for his age both in ability and mindset. As a Sophomore he was already seeking out individual coaching to put himself in the best position moving forward. He is very goal oriented and driven to pursue those goals. Casey is already one of the best specialists in the state and will only continue to grow and improve, this is evidenced by his All-State honor as only a Sophomore. His academics are also a high priority as he was an Academic All-State team member. Very bright future ahead for Casey! I believe he will become a difference maker at the next level! Looking forward to continuing working with him!
