I have a a desire to play collegiate football and obtain a degree. My interest lies in engineering. I am leaning toward mechanical engineering but do not feel set in this plan. My family is very supportive in my goals and push me to achieve my aspirations. My desire to play football is driven from the love I have for the sport. I have seen how successful graduates are when they have played a collegiate sport along with obtaining their degree. I plan exceed my parents and coaches goals in addition to the expectations of completing a degree and participating in a competitive work environment. I feel I am a good candidate for a team because I display great character, leadership and hard work. When you give me a task or an assignment I work on that assignment until it is completed to the best of my ability. I am a leader not only on the field and wrestling mat but in my every day life. I do everything to the best of my abilities. My character sets me apart from others because I strive to earn respect from my teachers, coaches, and peers. Others would tell you that I am a student of character as I display leadership and fairness in all my interactions. Many would say that I work harder to help others than to help myself. I pride myself in making sure everyone feels successful in a project or on a team. In athletics I strive to do my best no matter how hard the task is. I work diligently for my grades. I excel in mathematics and have maintained an average GPA.
