Personal Statement
I am a 6'0" linebacker from Osceola, Nebraska. I have started on the Osceola High School Varsity team for 4 years and lettered each year. In the 2011-12 Football season I averaged 13.6 tackles per game. I received the All District 1st Team Defense award. In the 2010-11 Football season I was the leading tackler with an average of 13 tackles per game. I received All-State Honerable Mention in 2010-11.
Ideally, I am looking for an institution where I can achieve the correct balance between the classroom and the sport of football. I intend to pursue a degree in Athletic Trainer/Training and Exercise Science. I am looking for a College or University with an outstanding academic reputation. I feel my personal drive, committment and enthusiasm for the game of football could have an immediate impact on the team. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have a high need.

- ActivitiesI have been a member of the FFA since my Freshman year. I am currently hold the office of Reporter in the FFA. I have been a member of the Nebraska Junior Hereford Association since 2001. I have actively shown cattle each year at the Nebraska Junior Hereford show and the National Junior Hereford Expo since 2002. Through these organizations I have participated in several completions such as team marketing, team fitting, speech contest, quiz bowl, Hereford grill off, showmanship and photography contest. These organizations and my involvement have taught me many valuable leadership skills. I served as Director of the Nebraska Junior Hereford Association for three years.
