Personal Statement

Hi Coaches & Recruiters,

I’ve been playing football since I was 8 years old. I've been fortunate to be on many winning teams along the way, but I've also been on the other side of winning too. Learning to fail is an important part of getting better. It's been my dream to play college football someday. Setting goals, doing the work, and seeing the results is very rewarding.

Over the years, I've played baseball, basketball and wrestled. After 7 years of playing basketball, I decided to wrestle in high school knowing it would improve my footwork, speed, hands and balance. I made the varsity team in 2019 as a Sophomore.

I'm always working to improve my skills to get bigger, faster and stronger. Being coachable, getting feedback and learning new techniques are part of being a great player and teammate.

In the classroom, I strive to get a 3.5 or better. I've also volunteered my time at non-profit organizations with my wrestling team, taught young kids the importance of lifting weights properly and also part of the student leadership council at my high school.

My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I want to ultimately find the right school to that competes at the highest level of competition, but also surround myself with good coaches and teammates. I hope to become a role model for young kids and make my parents and coaches proud.

Schools I'm in contact with are: Nebraska, Wyoming, Iowa State, South Dakota State, North Dakota, South Dakota and Augustana.

Sincerely,

Kaden
