IMy generation is well known for the first exponentially rising levels of mental illness and instability.  It feels as if anxiety and depression are more common than a cold nowadays. So something I tell myself prior to walking out of my door each and every morning is “make people smile”. Because making the tedious activities that life brings upon us enjoyable for other people is the best gift I could ever receive. 

I started playing football at the age of 4 considering I was younger than most of the kids in My grade. I started baseball and basketball during the same year and also continue to play these sports to this day. In my mind playing sports is a form of physical art. An unlimited amount of algorithms couldn’t predict the next play and that’s what gets to me. Another family you can always lean on for support. A community brought together for the pride of victory and the love of the game. The energy I bring into the classroom and onto the field is irreplaceable.
