Personal Statement

My name is Evan Dunker, and I am a quarterback. I am a three star recruit (one11football.com) and a Top 50 ranked player in the USA.

Since I was 7 years old, I have been completely dedicated to being the best athlete that I can be. I am an extremely hard worker who will be relentless and fight to win. This past season, my high school team won the state championship by a large margin, I was the starting safety for this team. I have gone ALL-STATE at two different positions, but my real passion is quarterbacking.  I switched schools during COVID, and entered a new program behind an existing QB, who was older than me.  That player was the offensive player of the year, and I can't wait to take his place this year.  Despite being the back-up, I was fifth in my division for passing yards and touchdowns. While I had the opportunity to transfer to prep schools, my coach moved us up a division with the intent of winning another state championship.  Instead of jumping ship, I am staying with my team! As I go into next season among all my other goals, I want to lead my team to another state championship. This time our team will be in a higher division with much better competition and my teammates, and I are ready for that challenge.

Above all else, no matter where I am, I want to win, and this has been validated throughout my youth sports career, winning a majority of the championships I have had the opportunity to play in.  In the classroom, I have shown my ability to learn information relatively quickly compared to my peers and my GPA is climbing.

I can dunk a basketball, throw a baseball 90, and throw a football 60+.  I know it is hard to be recruited out of a small state like NH but every time I have had the opportunity to compete on the national level against top talent, I have performed.  My grandfather, and uncle were both D1 football players, and my father was a college basketball player.  Nothing would make me prouder than to follow in their footsteps.

Overall, I just want to win.  If given the opportunity I will not only win the position, but I will win over my teammates and ultimately win for my coach.  I love and respect the lessons I have learned from football and look forward to learning more.  I just love football... No matter my role, nobody will out work me.  If you give me a shot, I will make it worth your time.

Thank you for reviewing my profile.
