Robert Urban '20 Recruiting Profile

I believe that I would be a great addition to any football team. I say this because I have great leadership, I am dependable, and I am  committed to what I do.  At the end of my sophomore year my coach put me in charge of our tank pull that we do for the town every year. I had to put the team together and put together the information for all of us to enter. I was recently selected to be a delegate for the Boys State program here in NJ. Out of approx 400+ young men I was selected to be part of this program. During the final selection process I came in as first pick by my local American Legion.  I continue to remain committed to both my academics and athletics.  I have never missed any practices and remained focused on my studies by maintaining a 4.00 GPA. During our off season I did not miss any lifts with the team and remained in shape. In this current off season I am showing responsibility by making sure my teammates are at the weight room with the rest of us and most, if not all, of the underclassmen on the team look up to me as their leader. At times, many on my team refer to me as captain even though the team votes in the summer. My goals for college are to get the best education that I can while also being a key component to a great football team.
