Hello Coaches my name is Rodrigo Escobar and I also go by the name of Drago and through the game of Football I learned that when I set myself to do something I am going to do everything in my power to achieve it and I also learned that I have good leadership skills that help my teammates to go an extra mile. I am a hard working young man who is determined to achieve the dream of playing Football to the next level & I know that to be in the next level I have to excel both in academics and sports. I am always willing to go the extra mile and accept advice to better myself as a player and individual, I am no type of trouble maker and I am very passionate about academics and football. I feel that I can be an asset to your team and program.
Throughout my High school career, I've had to overcome a lot of obstacles to be where I am today because in my sophomore year I wasn't as big as the other lineman so in the offseason I joined wrestling and went from being 240 pounds at the end of wrestling season to being 284 pounds. Some unique characteristics that I possess as a person and player is that I am always willing to accept coaching to better myself as a player, I have good leadership skills, instead of going out to parties or fooling around in the streets I go to the field, watch film or go to the weight room to train and better myself as a player.
