Elijah Mercado '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elijah Mercado. I am a senior Quarterback at Hoboken High School. I stand around 6'3", 225 pounds. I am a team captain and consider myself a team leader by the hard work and dedication I bring everyday. I've attended two different high schools. One a very large school, the other a fairly small school. I've played against all different levels of competition. With each year of high school I've gained a new level of maturity both on and off the field. I've learned the value of actions and consequences, that the road to success is through hard work and dedication and the importance of knowing when to be a team player and knowing when to be a team leader. Although these lessons are priceless to me, I know I have many more to learn. My goal is to be a student athlete at the next level in an environment that offers me the structure and support needed to help me reach my full potential.
