Eric Nasello '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Eric M. Nasello, I am 5'11 and weigh around 200-205lbs. As coaches would say I am a quicker speed for my size. My freshman year of football, I played for the freshman team, and JV teams, I started offense, defense, and on special teams. I also had to dress up for varsity games, as coach asked. My sophomore year I played for JV, and Varsity football, I was a starter for offense, defense, and specials on JV. I received my varsity letter and started on all special teams, and got my time in at linebacker. My junior year I was the starting center and started at outside linebacker for 6 games. I earned my varsity letter for the second year and I received All-County Honorable Mention center. Ive been named captain for my senior season to lead the team. I recorded around 105 tackles and was also names 2nd Team All-League for OT. I also play baseball. I was a starter on JV my freshman year and had one of the highest batting averages and most RBI's on the team. My sophomore year I played varsity at 3rd base, and I also DH'd. My academics are pretty good. I'm an A & B student, math being my best subject. GPA as of now is around a 3.2 and am 48/116 in the class. Freshman year I got the gym excellence award for my class. As of now I am 17 years old and am a junior at Saddle Brook High School. I volunteer in my town as a junior firefighter, and I also help coach younger athletes at practices. My dream and goal is to play football in college to continue my athletic success. I'm looking to major in Civil Engineering and would like to pursue my career in that profession. Thanks
