I was born and raised in My home country Uzbekistan at the age of 6. I was raised in a low income household, barely being able to afford basic needs. I didn’t have much growing up as a child even when i moved here to USA due to my family still being in the low part of the income pyramid. but i’ve learned from that hardship that you have to fight for what’s right and learn to keep it professional due to that fact. growing up in a low income family has taught me to be humble about my daily experiences and to be professional when times were needed like for example i like to take out my anger and sorrow on the field and keep it professional off the field. football taught me a lot of things about life in these past years like being resilient, having a great attitude and being coachable anywhere and everywhere, being accountable and owning up to my mistakes, having competition with others and especially myself, and having discipline on things wether i like them or not it’s a must do.
athletically, i run a 5.0 40 yard dash while being 230lbs and 6’4. benching 295 for one rep, squatting around 345.
Academically Ive been struggling due to the fact that I have to help my parents Financially sometimes and am trying to get my grades up by the end of this year.
As always thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my Personal statement.
