Hello coaches, My name is Javon Swain. I'm going to be honest here and say I never had college goals because I never thought I could get there due to how expensive almost all colleges I had in mind are. On the other hand my aspirations have always been to help people and play the sport I love which is football. I want to achieve my dream and be able to contribute to the world in any little way I can. What I think makes me a good candidate for football teams is that I'm patient and pay attention when it comes down to me learning new skills and perfecting them and never bringing negativity to the team and people around me. At the same time though I always keep aggression and play with a chip. What I think makes me different from other recruits in character is my selflessness. I always want to bring the better out of someone else because you never know what somebody is thinking and going through. Also my perseverance. Once I make up my mind I never turn back. Athletic wise I think my ability to tackle and use my size to get under lineman blocking me and my wits to put me in game changing situations puts me at an advantage that separates me from others. Lastly, academics have always been a necessity for me and my family. In this category I think putting a lot of effort into my work and being part of the National Honors Society separates me from others.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and understanding me. I hope I am a correct fit for your team. I won't let you down!
