Being a college athlete is something that I have been wanting to do since I was very young. I remember watching ESPN every morning before school at 5 years old. Ever since then I have been fascinated about stats, play styles, schemes, and really anything about football. I’ve been playing football for as long as I can remember, including indoor flag football. In addition to football, I also play baseball and basketball, both since I was very young. I currently play at the varsity level for baseball and also participated in indoor track 2023. I've worked so hard to get to the point where I am today. I've started on varsity football since freshman year. In the offseason, I'm in the weight room on a daily basis and work on getting stronger, faster, and more explosive. Now, being at the point where I am, my coaches and peers have very big goals for me, as I do myself. I am a team-first player with strong leadership skills. In 2023, I was awarded the “Hard Hat Award”, which is considered the ultimate TEAM award given to players who represent the core values of our football team and who strive daily to make a positive impact on others. I am also honored to be a Varsity Football Captain (2023).
No matter how hard the challenge, my philosophy has been to never back down. I'm an exceptionally hard worker and will do anything to achieve my goals. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being honored top 10 status in my class since I've been in school is evidence of my work ethic and drive. I intend on pursuing my eduction in Sports Management. My knowledge of football combined with my physical strengths can do wonders for a team. For example, I spend hours watching film, college football, and the NFL to see what elements of their games I can add to mine. For me, it is equally important to be a leader on the field, in academic acheivement, and in my personal life. My eagerness to win and to be succesful would be a great addition to any program.
