Jaden Haly '24 Recruiting Profile

Dear Future College Football Coach,

I am a rising Senior (’24) at A. Philip Randolph High School in NY, NY.  My primary position is quarterback however, I also kick for the team.

I am looking to extend my football career in college. While academics are my top priority (3.5 GPA) I have been passionate about the game of football ever since I was 7 years old and tried flag football for the first time! 

There is nothing better than being part of a team, working together towards a challenging goal and experiencing success on any level with your teammates. As a quarterback I know the importance of being a leader. I consider myself a team leader and very focused and coachable.

In the off season I am always striving to stay in shape, get stronger, bigger and faster.  I’m an avid movie-watcher, always seeking to add to my list of “movie classics.”  I often film and edit my own short videos for fun and also small video projects for friends and family. I perhaps would want to explore Film/Media as a Major in college. I also play piano in my free time and I am completely self-taught.

I wanted to share that our team won the NYC PSAL Championship this season! I am looking forward to a repeat win in my Senior year! I was also honored in June 2022 with the award of "Best Student-Athlete" at my school's end-of-year awards ceremony.  I take academics and sports equally seriously and strive to achieve being the best at both.
