Matthew Rector '18 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 6’4” 290LBS offensive and defensive tackle from Ogdensburg NY. I have started on the Ogdensburg Free Academy High School varsity Football team for the last 3 years. Last season during our team went to the NY State playoffs for the first time in history. On the road to the State Championship I earned section VII - X 2016 class c super Bowl defensive player of the game and Semi Finals class C most valuable player -defense.

I have a 3.2 GPA and 850 sat score.  

I am looking for a college where I can find a good balance between the classroom and field. I would like to attend a college where there is a great criminal justice/Homeland Security field of study. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team and always be a positive addition. I am a team player and supporter with a great attitude and personality. My current Football and Basketball coach welcome the opportunity to give a recommendation for me.
